H.R. 8211 — Army Security Agency Monument Act

This section directs the Secretary of the Army to place in Arlington National Cemetery—or outside its entrance if no suitable location inside—a monument honoring Army Security Agency veterans who served in the Armed Forces from 1945 to 1976 during World War II, the Korean conflict, the Vietnam era, and the Cold War era (terms as defined in 38 U.S.C. §101). The monument must be based on a design approved by the Secretary and the National Army Security Agency Association, placed on a non-burial plot with base dimensions limited to 52 inches by 18 inches, and installed only after the Secretary enters an agreement with the Association under which it pays all costs for site preparation, construction, installation, and maintenance.
