This section establishes the Electric Vehicle Fire Response Working Group within the Department of Transportation, to be convened not later than 90 days after enactment of this Act. The working group comprises not fewer than 22 members, including (1) at least 2 towing industry representatives, (2) at least 6 emergency response personnel representatives, (3) at least 6 electric vehicle automotive industry representatives, (4) at least 4 representatives from research, standards-setting, or training organizations on electric vehicle fire risks, (5) 1 National Transportation Safety Board representative, (6) 1 National Highway Traffic Safety Administration representative, (7) 1 Federal Highway Administration representative, (8) 1 United States Fire Administration representative, and (9) other federal agency representatives as determined appropriate by the Secretary of Transportation.
