H.R. 8348 — To amend title 23, United States Code, with respect to the amounts States are guaranteed under the highway apportionment formula, and for other purposes.

This section adds to the list of minimum guaranteed apportionments under 23 U.S.C. 104(c)(1)(B) a new requirement of at least 0.5 percent of the total apportionment. (As background, §104(c) ensures minimum funding levels for states from Federal-aid highway authorizations for core programs such as the National Highway Performance Program and Surface Transportation Block Grant Program.)
