H.R. 8535 — Measuring Illicit Fentanyl Trafficking Act

This section directs the Secretary of Homeland Security, not later than one year after the date of enactment, to (1) ensure that each Department of Homeland Security component engaged in the detection, deterrence, and seizure of fentanyl collaborates and shares relevant information and data with other such components and identifies barriers to such sharing; and (2) establish performance metrics relating to the detection, deterrence, and seizure of fentanyl for the Department and each of its components.
