H.R. 8584 — Indo-Pacific Space Partnership Act of 2026

This section directs the Commander of the United States Space Command to submit a report, not later than one year after enactment, to the Senate and House Armed Services and Foreign Relations/Foreign Affairs Committees assessing the feasibility and advisability of expanding the Multinational Force Operation Olympic Defender to additional allies in the Indo-Pacific region, including Japan and the Republic of Korea. The report must address current expansion activities, required policy and funding changes by those countries, effects on U.S. national security interests, and any additional resources or authorities needed from the executive and legislative branches.
