H.R. 8610 — Sudan Waiver Report Reduction Act

This section revises the reporting requirement for waivers granted by the President under the Sudan Accountability and Divestment Act of 2007—which requires states and localities to divest from companies doing business with Sudan in certain sectors—to require the head of the relevant executive agency to submit a report on the waiver to the appropriate congressional committees not later than 30 days after it is granted (previously, the President was required to publish notice of the waiver on the Department of the Treasury website).
