H.R. 8655 — Jersey Pride Tax Credit Act of 2026

This section establishes a Jersey pride tax credit equal to 25 percent of the aggregate amount for which a taxpayer sells eligible products (i.e., any product that promotes the State of New Jersey) to unrelated parties in the course of a trade or business. The credit is added to the general business credit under section 38 of the Internal Revenue Code and applies to products sold after December 31, 2025.

This section requires port authorities to give preference to businesses selling eligible products when renting commercial space.
