H.R. 949 — Hatchie River Wild and Scenic River Study Act of 2025

This section designates for potential inclusion in the national wild and scenic rivers system the approximately 163-mile segment of the Hatchie River, Tennessee, from the Mississippi-Tennessee state line to its confluence with the Mississippi River (as new subsection (a)(147)). It further directs the Secretary of the Interior to complete a study of the segment, including identification of partnership opportunities with state, regional, local, and community stakeholders, and submit a report to Congress within three years after funds are made available (as new subsection (b)(24)).
