H.Res. 1006 — Removing the Director of the Congressional Budget Office.

This section removes the Director of the Congressional Budget Office effective immediately upon adoption of the resolution. (Thus, the Deputy Director assumes the duties of Acting Director during the resulting vacancy until the Speaker of the House and President pro tempore of the Senate appoint a successor after receiving recommendations from the House and Senate Budget Committees.)
