H.Res. 1067 — Providing for consideration of the bill (H.R. 6856) to impose sanctions and other measures with respect to the Russian Federation if the Government of the Russian Federation refuses to negotiate a peace agreement with Ukraine, violates any such agreement, or initiates another military invasion of Ukraine, and for other purposes.

This section provides for the immediate consideration in the House of H.R. 6856, to impose sanctions and other measures with respect to the Russian Federation if the Government of the Russian Federation refuses to negotiate a peace agreement with Ukraine, violates any such agreement, or initiates another military invasion of Ukraine. It waives all points of order against consideration of the bill and its provisions, deems an amendment in the nature of a substitute adopted and the bill as read, and orders the previous question to final passage after one hour of debate equally divided and controlled by Representative Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania or a designee and an opponent, except for one motion to recommit.

This section provides that the amendment in the nature of a substitute to H.R. 6856 referred to in the resolution shall be the version submitted by Representative Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania for printing in the Congressional Record at least one day before floor consideration of the bill, with only the last such amendment submitted considered as adopted if multiple versions are submitted.
