H.Res. 1075 — Providing for consideration of the bill (H.R. 4626) to amend the Energy Policy and Conservation Act to prohibit the Secretary of Energy from prescribing any new or amended energy conservation standard for a product that is not technologically feasible and economically justified, and for other purposes, and providing for consideration of the bill (H.R. 4758) to repeal provisions of Public Law 117-169 relating to taxpayer subsidies for home electrification, and for other purposes.

This section makes in order consideration of H.R. 4626, to amend the Energy Policy and Conservation Act to prohibit the Secretary of Energy from prescribing new or amended energy conservation standards for a product that are not technologically feasible and economically justified. It (1) waives all points of order against consideration of the bill; (2) deems adopted, in lieu of the Energy and Commerce Committee substitute, an amendment consisting of Rules Committee Print 119-20; (3) considers the bill, as amended, as read and waives all points of order against its provisions; and (4) orders the previous question to final passage after one hour of debate equally divided between the chair and ranking minority member of the Committee on Energy and Commerce (or designees) and one motion to recommit.

This section makes in order the consideration of H.R. 4758 in the House upon adoption of the resolution. It waives all points of order against consideration of the bill and its provisions, deems the bill read, orders the previous question to final passage without intervening motion except for (1) one hour of debate equally divided and controlled by the chair and ranking minority member of the Committee on Energy and Commerce (or their designees) and (2) one motion to recommit.
