H.Res. 113 — Directing the Secretary of Homeland Security to transmit to the House of Representatives certain documents relating to Department of Homeland Security policies and activities related to the security of Department information and data and the recruitment and retention of its workforce.

This section directs the Secretary of Homeland Security to transmit to the House of Representatives, not later than 14 days after adoption of the resolution, any documentation in the Department’s possession relating to the security of Department information systems and the recruitment and retention of its workforce. The required materials encompass documentation on requests for and grants of access to Department systems or data by the Department of Government Efficiency, policies governing non-employee or non-contractor access to Department systems and data, investigations into non-routine access to employee data by the Office of Personnel Management, implementation of the January 20, 2025, memorandum ordering a freeze on federal civilian hiring, and statistics and descriptions concerning pending and accepted employment offers as of January 20, 2025, as well as employees accepting the Office of Personnel Management’s deferred resignation offer.
