This section commends the American Chemical Society on its 150th anniversary, recognizes the organization for its contributions to the scientific, educational, and economic strength of the United States, affirms the importance of promoting STEM education and expanding opportunities for students to pursue chemistry and related fields, and requests that the Clerk of the House transmit an enrolled copy of the resolution to the President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chair of the Board of the American Chemical Society.
