H.Res. 1192 — Recognizing the roles and the contributions of care workers in the United States and expressing support for the designation of April 2026 as "Care Worker Recognition Month".

This section expresses the sense of the House of Representatives supporting the designation of “Care Worker Recognition Month” and recognizing the contributions of America’s home care workers, early educators, and childcare workers in (1) enabling older adults and individuals with chronic illnesses or disabilities to live independently and with dignity; (2) providing nurturing environments for children; (3) allowing caregivers to pursue education and workforce participation; (4) supporting economic growth; and (5) promoting the care profession.
