H.Res. 1218 — Recognizing the importance of the special relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom and welcoming the visit of King Charles III to the United States.

This section expresses the sense of the House of Representatives by (1) welcoming King Charles III to the United States; (2) reaffirming the special relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom; (3) supporting continued defense cooperation through multilateral security arrangements; (4) calling for continued cooperation on democratic values, rule of law, and human rights; and (5) committing to strengthen diplomatic, economic, security, and people-to-people ties.
