H.Res. 15 — Rescinding the subpoenas issued by the January 6th Select Committee on September 23, 2021, October 6, 2021, and February 9, 2022, and withdrawing the recommendations finding Stephen K. Bannon, Mark Randall Meadows, Daniel Scavino, Jr., and Peter K. Navarro in contempt of Congress.

This section (1) expresses the sense of the House of Representatives that the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol was illegitimate and that its conclusions and findings were predetermined due to the committee’s partisan nature; (2) rescinds the subpoenas issued on September 23, 2021, October 6, 2021, and February 9, 2022, for Stephen K. Bannon, Mark Randall Meadows, Daniel Scavino, Jr., and Peter K. Navarro; (3) withdraws, dismisses, and concludes without further proceedings or enforcement H. Res. 730 (adopted October 21, 2021, recommending contempt for Stephen K. Bannon), H. Res. 1037 (adopted April 6, 2022, recommending contempt for Peter K. Navarro and Daniel Scavino, Jr.), and H. Res. 851 (adopted December 14, 2021, recommending contempt for Mark Randall Meadows); and (4) directs the Speaker of the House of Representatives to notify the Department of Justice, pursuant to sections 192 and 194 of title 2, United States Code, that the subpoenas are rescinded and null and void.
