This section expresses the support of the House of Representatives for the designation of Autoimmune Awareness Month, for efforts by health care providers and autoimmune patient advocacy and education organizations to increase awareness of the causes of and treatments for autoimmune diseases, and for increased funding for research on the root causes of autoimmune diseases as well as improved diagnostic methods and treatments.
