It urges support for strengthening CACFP by offering reimbursement for an additional meal or snack for children in full-day care, reducing area eligibility to 40 percent (from 50 percent), providing annual eligibility determinations for for-profit child care centers, factoring annual food inflation into reimbursement rates regardless of setting, and reducing administrative burdens. It acknowledges that CACFP can reduce costs in the care economy for licensed or approved child or adult care and supports the designation of National CACFP Week.
