H.Res. 243 — Expressing support for designating Iranian American Heritage Month.

This section supports the designation of Iranian American Heritage Month, acknowledges the contributions of Iranian Americans to the Nation’s culture, economy, and developments in science, medicine, and technology, encourages observance of the month through appropriate programs, activities, and celebrations such as the Nowruz new year celebration, and reaffirms solidarity with Iranian Americans and the Iranian people in their efforts toward a free and democratic Iran.
