H.Res. 259 — Of inquiry requesting the President to provide certain documents in the President's possession to the House of Representatives relating to the access provided to the staff and advisers of, including any individual working for or in conjunction with, the Department of Government Efficiency to the systems, applications, and accounts, and any information contained therein, of the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection.

This section requests the President to furnish to the House of Representatives, not later than 14 days after adoption of the resolution, copies of all documents and communications relating to access by Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) personnel to Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection (CFPB) systems. The request covers every individual working for or in conjunction with DOGE who was not employed by the U.S. Government prior to January 20, 2025, including Elon Musk, Jeremy Lewin, Jordan Wick, Gavin Kliger, Nikhil Rajpal, Luke Farritor, Chris Young, and Edward Coristine, and requires their names, ages, and professional backgrounds; identification of any confidential supervisory information, personally identifiable information, or sensitive compartmented information accessed; required and held clearance levels; any external sharing, copying, or modification of non-public records; all approval steps, timelines, and responsible officials; signed Rules of Behavior forms, access request forms, business justifications, and completed trainings; and identified conflicts of interest along with mitigation steps. The section also requires the total number of CFPB full-time equivalent employees as of December 31, 2024, and as of March 24, 2025, broken down by division and office, plus the number of such employees not actively working as of March 24, 2025, due to stop-work orders or administrative leave, also broken down by division and office.
