H.Res. 265 — Condemning the Trump administration for the use of an unauthorized method of communicating highly sensitive or potentially classified information regarding a United States military operation via the messaging platform "Signal".

This section condemns the administration for risking national security by potentially exposing highly sensitive or classified information to foreign adversaries such as China and Russia and for discussing military operations in an unsecured setting with at least one nongovernmental party. It calls on the administration to review procedures for communicating classified information, investigate the use of unapproved messaging services including Signal by the National Security Council and other executive branch officials, ensure all classified communications occur inside a SCIF, and hold accountable any members who violated federal laws on the handling of such information.
