H.Res. 286 — Of inquiry requesting the President to transmit certain documents relating to the dangerous, unaccountable use of AI by the United States DOGE Service to jeopardize the private information and essential services of the American people.

This section requests the President to transmit to the House of Representatives, not later than 14 days after adoption of the resolution and to the extent such documents are in the President's possession, complete and unredacted copies of any documents relating to artificial intelligence (AI) technology newly deployed or used at a Federal agency by or at the direction of Elon Musk or an individual associated with the United States DOGE Service from January 20, 2025, to the present. The requested documents encompass those referring or relating to the specific AI technologies deployed and any associated System of Records Notices, Privacy Impact Assessments, or Authorizations to Operate; the Federal data fed into such technologies, including whether they contain sensitive personally identifiable information of American citizens; all individuals involved in policy decisions and technical planning, including those related to using AI to cut payments to Americans or associated programs and to process government contract data while addressing conflicts of interest; concerns raised by Federal workers that the actions violated the Privacy Act or the Advancing American AI Act; lists of Federal expenditures, programs, or personnel identified by AI for freezes or cuts and any analyses determining which to target; communications regarding the legality or harms to the American people of such freezes or cuts; and all records, logs, code, certificates, and configurations for Federal IT assets, databases, or repositories accessed by DOGE employees, including the hiring authority, background investigations, and clearances of individuals who managed or accessed the data.
