H.Res. 314 — Of inquiry requesting the President and directing the Secretary of Health and Human Services to transmit, respectively, certain documents to the House of Representatives relating to the effect on taxpayer and child privacy of the seizure by the so-called "Department of Government Efficiency" of legally-protected identity and financial data stored in the National Directory of New Hires and the Federal Parent Locator Service.

This section requests the President and directs the Secretary of Health and Human Services to transmit to the House of Representatives, not later than 14 days after adoption, copies of documents relating to United States DOGE Service (Department of Government Efficiency or DOGE) access to data in the National Database of New Hires (NDNH) and Federal Parent Locator Service (FPLS). The requested documents include those concerning (1) DOGE requests and authorizations to access NDNH information protected under section 453 of the Social Security Act or section 6103 of the Internal Revenue Code; (2) the location and security of any copies of NDNH data; (3) prior legal opinions regarding access to NDNH data without authorized purposes or a memorandum of understanding; (4) DOGE requests for confidential information of more than 40,000,000 Americans, including over 19,000,000 in the FPLS used to facilitate child support payments from non-custodial parents; (5) terminations, retirements, or resignations of HHS employees responsible for FPLS or NDNH following the first DOGE request for Federal Case Registry information; and (6) DOGE attempts to access information under section 453(a)(2) of the Social Security Act.
