This section recognizes Clela Rorex for her contributions as a pioneer for civil rights and same-sex marriage, her respect and bravery in issuing the first same-sex marriage license in the United States, and her courage following threats received for issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples, and expresses support for the designation of Clela Rorex Day.
