H.Res. 344 — Of inquiry requesting the President, and directing the Secretary of Health and Human Services, to transmit respectively, to the House of Representatives certain documents relating to the elimination of the Administration for Community Living-.

This section directs the Secretary of Health and Human Services and requests the President to transmit to the House of Representatives, not later than 14 days after adoption of the resolution, unredacted copies of all documents, memoranda, legal opinions, meeting notes, records (including telephone records, electronic mail records, and screenshots), correspondence, and other communications relating to specified actions affecting the Administration for Community Living (ACL). The required materials must address (1) the proposed elimination of ACL; (2) any reduction in force or other downsizing measures at ACL; (3) any actions taken pursuant to the Department of Health and Human Services March 27, 2025, communication titled "HHS Announces Transformation to Make America Healthy Again"; (4) any dismissal of career staff in leadership positions at ACL; (5) any determination that remaining staff would suffice to execute the Older Americans Act of 1965, the Assistive Technology Act of 2004, the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act, and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973; and (6) any termination of grants awarded by the Department through ACL.
