H.Res. 382 — Providing a point of order in the House of Representatives during the 119th Congress against reconciliation measures that reduce benefits under the Medicaid program or the supplemental nutrition assistance program.

This section establishes a point of order in the House of Representatives against consideration of any reconciliation bill or resolution reported pursuant to a budget resolution under section 301 or 304 of the Congressional Budget Act, a joint resolution under section 258C of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act, or any amendment or conference report thereon that reduces enrollment or benefits for individuals under age 19, age 65 or older, pregnant women, or individuals with disabilities (as defined in section 223(d) of the Social Security Act) enrolled in the Medicaid program under title XIX of the Social Security Act, or that reduces eligibility or benefits for households with such individuals participating in the supplemental nutrition assistance program under the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008. The point of order applies from the date of enactment through the last day of the 119th Congress and does not apply to provisions that reduce improper payments, eliminate fraudulent billing, or enhance data verification to ensure eligibility.
