H.Res. 436 — Providing for consideration of the bill (H.R. 1) to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of H. Con. Res. 14.

This section establishes the procedure for House floor consideration of H.R. 1, a reconciliation bill pursuant to title II of H. Con. Res. 14, upon adoption of the resolution. It waives all points of order against consideration of the bill; deems adopted an amendment in the nature of a substitute consisting of Rules Committee Print 119-3, as modified by the amendment printed in the Committee on Rules report; considers the bill, as amended, as read; waives all points of order against provisions in the bill, as amended; orders the previous question on the bill, as amended, and any further amendment thereto, to final passage without intervening motion except (1) two hours of debate equally divided and controlled by the chair and ranking minority member of the Committee on the Budget or their designees and the chair and ranking minority member of the Committee on Ways and Means or their designees and (2) one motion to recommit; and provides that Clause 5(b) of rule XXI (earmark disclosure) does not apply to the bill or amendments thereto.
