This section expresses support for the designation of National Electrical Safety Month to raise awareness of electrical hazards in homes, schools, and workplaces. It encourages citizens to establish and practice electrical safety habits to reduce related fires, injuries, and deaths; supports the Electrical Safety Foundation's efforts to provide understanding of hazards associated with emerging technologies; and requests that the President issue a proclamation calling for appropriate programs and activities.
