H.Res. 445 — Supporting the goals and ideals of the month of May as Sex Ed For All Month: Equity and Access for All.

This section expresses the sense of the House of Representatives regarding Sex Ed For All Month by (1) supporting the goals and ideals of the month; (2) calling on public and elected officials to advocate for and invest in sex education legislation; (3) encouraging state and local governments, public health and educational agencies, schools, and media organizations to recognize and support the month; (4) commending community, faith-based, educational, and health organizations providing sex education to young people; (5) prioritizing sex education programs that are evidence-informed, comprehensive, confidential, equitable, accessible, medically accurate, age- and developmentally appropriate, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and resilience-oriented; (6) discouraging programs that withhold sexuality-related information, are medically inaccurate, promote stereotypes, fail to address the needs of sexually active, pregnant, parenting, or disabled youth, or exclude individuals based on gender identity, expression, or sexual orientation; (7) recommending implementation of sex education in schools along with professional development for educators and staff; and (8) calling on youth-serving professionals to ensure access to inclusive and honest sex education.
