H.Res. 505 — Recognizing June 12, 2025, as this year's observance of "Philippines Independence Day" to honor the 127th anniversary of the independence of the Philippines.

This section recognizes the historic significance of the 127th anniversary of the sovereign and independent country of the Philippines on June 12, 1898; reaffirms the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the United States and the Philippines and commits to strengthening those bonds; reaffirms support for the Philippines to defend its internal security from terrorism and its enduring support for the Philippines; recognizes the courage and bravery of Filipino and Filipino American servicemen and servicewomen who have fought alongside and in the United States Armed Forces; and supports the recognition of “Philippines Independence Day”.
