H.Res. 509 — Expressing support for the designation of June 2025 as "Black Music Month".

This section expresses the sense of the House of Representatives (1) supporting the designation of Black Music Month, (2) honoring musicians, music creators, artists, communities, and congregations for creating, uplifting, promoting, and celebrating Black music, and (3) calling on the people of the United States to recognize Black Music Month through actions and programs that elevate Black music's artistry, perform and partake in it, promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, spread awareness of its impact and legacy, honor its history, and spread joy, awareness, and understanding.
