H.Res. 52 — Recognizing and honoring the work of community organizations and individuals who create and maintain services and educational programs for marginalized groups ensuring the resilience and prosperity of members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

This section expresses the sense of the House of Representatives on LGBTQIA+ community spaces by (1) recognizing the necessity and work of those who create such spaces to advance equality; (2) commending partnerships between marginalized groups and local resources; (3) acknowledging the historical role of community-building spaces in opposing homophobic, racist, misogynistic, and hateful oppression; (4) honoring current and past organizations and individuals that provide spaces for the LGBTQIA+ community and people of color to commune and organize; (5) affirming the value of education and awareness initiatives on the historical and cultural significance of these spaces; and (6) encouraging continued congressional support for organizations and individuals creating community for marginalized groups.
