This section expresses the sense of the House of Representatives in standing with Israel as it takes targeted military actions to dismantle Iran’s nuclear enrichment capabilities and defend against a nuclear-armed Iran, recognizing such strikes as advancing the United States national security interest in a nuclear-free Iran, reaffirming Israel’s right to self-defense, condemning Iran’s indiscriminate attacks on Israeli civilians and its repression of the Iranian people, calling on Iran to immediately cease its pursuit of nuclear weapons and fully dismantle its nuclear program and related infrastructure, calling on all countries to support such dismantlement, mourning the 24 Israelis killed and 590 Israelis wounded in Iran’s retaliatory attacks, reaffirming the United States commitment to Israel’s security in accordance with the 2016 U.S.-Israel Memorandum of Understanding, and standing ready to provide emergency resupply and other security, diplomatic, and intelligence support.
