This section supports the designation of National Moon Landing Day and encourages people in the United States to mark the day by celebrating NASA astronauts who served on the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo missions along with all personnel who supported those efforts, honoring fallen astronauts, recognizing workers who design and build space technologies, educating others on the economic, societal, and health benefits of human space exploration, inspiring youth to pursue STEM careers, and recognizing continued U.S. leadership in space through the Artemis missions and Moon to Mars Program.
