H.Res. 698 — Recognizing the victims, survivors, and thousands of other Americans impacted by the September 11, 2001, attacks, and for other purposes.

This section expresses the sense of the House of Representatives by (1) recognizing the victims, survivors, and thousands of other Americans impacted by the September 11, 2001, attacks; (2) recognizing the efforts of public servants to maintain the security of the Nation; (3) opposing weakening of the United States counterterrorism and preparedness posture; and (4) urging the government to honor lives lost on September 11, 2001, by remembering lessons learned and upholding the Department of Homeland Security’s mission to safeguard the American people, homeland, and values.
