H.Res. 708 — Recognizing the contributions of medical research and observing "Medical Research Week" from September 15 through September 19, 2025.

This section expresses the sense of the House of Representatives that (1) it supports the designation of Medical Research Week; (2) medical research has a unique and critical impact on improving the health and well-being of patients and communities nationwide; (3) strong annual federal funding for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) is important to support medical research, discover treatments and cures, maintain global competitiveness, and strengthen economic growth; and (4) the people of the United States should recognize the critical role of NIH-led medical research in improving health nationwide.
