This section expresses the sense of the House of Representatives that (1) National Kinship Care Month be designated; (2) Congress enact policies to improve the lives of vulnerable children by supporting kinship families; (3) kinship caregivers and their advocates be honored for their commitment; and (4) efforts continue to improve outcomes for vulnerable children through parts B (child and family services) and E (foster care and adoption assistance) of title IV of the Social Security Act and other programs supporting vulnerable families, prevention and reunification services, and kinship caregivers (e.g., grandparents, Tribal members, godparents, stepparents, or fictive kin), including Kinship Navigator programs.
