H.Res. 780 — Providing for consideration of the bill (H.R. 1834) to advance policy priorities that will break the gridlock.

This section establishes the procedure for immediate House floor consideration of H.R. 1834 upon adoption of the resolution. It (1) waives all points of order against consideration of the bill and, as amended, against its provisions; (2) deems as adopted an amendment in the nature of a substitute submitted by the ranking minority member of the Committee on Rules if printed in the designated portion of the Congressional Record at least one day prior (with the last such amendment controlling if multiple are submitted); (3) deems the bill, as amended, as read; and (4) orders the previous question to final passage without intervening motion except one hour of debate equally divided and controlled by the majority leader or designee and the minority leader or designee, and one motion to recommit.
