This section states that the House of Representatives (1) recognizes the growing mental health crisis in the United States and recommits itself to addressing it through increased access to care, reduced stigma, and support for young people's mental health; (2) supports recognition of Youth Mental Health Day in the United States; (3) supports recognition of Youth Suicide Prevention Day in the United States; and (4) encourages state and local governments to adopt and promote Youth Mental Health Day and Youth Suicide Prevention Day and to invest in comprehensive school- and community-based mental health initiatives.
