H.Res. 795 — Condemning the Hamas attacks of October 7, 2023, and calling for Hamas and its leaders to immediately and unconditionally surrender and to release the hostages, including Americans.

This section expresses the sense of the House of Representatives that (1) the atrocities committed by Hamas on October 7, 2023—the deadliest day for the Jewish people since the Holocaust—and those continuing, including sexual violence as a tool of war, are condemned; (2) Hamas must immediately surrender, cease attacks against Israel, and release all remaining hostages; (3) Israel has the right to self-defense from threats and terrorist organizations seeking its destruction; (4) vital humanitarian aid must reach Palestinian noncombatants; (5) international organizations like the United Nations and all nations must unequivocally denounce Hamas atrocities and call for the immediate release of hostages; and (6) all instances of antisemitism globally and domestically—including in K–12 schools and on college campuses—are strongly condemned, with a commitment to confront and combat this hatred in all forms and at every level.
