H.Res. 807 — Of inquiry requesting the President to transmit certain information to the House of Representatives referring to the firings, dismissal, reduction in force, or withholding of pay for the period of the lapse in appropriations of furloughed employees of the United States Government.

This section requests that the President transmit to the House of Representatives, within 14 days after adoption of this resolution and in complete unredacted form, all documents and communications—including meeting notes, audio records, emails, texts, and other digital messages—related to the following: (1) any proposed reduction in force at a U.S. government agency tied to the federal lapse in appropriations beginning October 1, 2025; (2) efforts at the Office of Management and Budget to determine that the Government Employee Fair Treatment Act of 2019 does not require automatic backpay for furloughed federal employees after a lapse in appropriations; (3) plans to withhold pay during that lapse for excepted or furloughed federal employees or District of Columbia employees; and (4) communications on these matters between the Offices of the President, Vice President, Personnel Management, Management and Budget, Special Counsel, and Merit Systems Protection Board.
