H.Res. 820 — Supporting the designation of the week beginning on October 12, 2025, as "National Wildlife Refuge Week".

This section expresses the sense of the House of Representatives supporting the designation of National Wildlife Refuge Week and recognizing the National Wildlife Refuge System's contributions to (1) wildlife conservation, imperiled species, ecosystems, and wildlife-dependent recreation; (2) local economies and recreational opportunities; (3) wildlife observation, photography, interpretation, and environmental education; (4) the hunting and fishing heritage; (5) urban communities through conservation coalitions, youth opportunities, community improvement, trust in government, and nature connections; (6) engagement and co-stewardship with Tribes, Alaska Native Corporations and organizations, and Native Hawaiians; and (7) waterfowl and habitat conservation under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. The section reaffirms House support for the refuge system and its intent to continue wildlife conservation efforts.
