This section expresses the sense of the House of Representatives regarding National Down Syndrome Awareness Month by (1) supporting its designation; (2) recognizing it as an opportunity to celebrate people with Down syndrome and their families advocating for inclusion; (3) commending people with Down syndrome, their families, medical researchers, doctors, scientists, and organizations improving quality of life for the Down syndrome community; and (4) reiterating commitment to federal investment in Down syndrome research and supportive policies.
