H.Res. 859 — Honoring Hampden-Sydney College on the 250th anniversary of its founding.

This section celebrates the 250th anniversary of Hampden-Sydney College’s founding, (1) reminds current and future generations of the college’s commitments to civic responsibility, character and virtue, rhetoric, freedom of expression, and civility; (2) recognizes the college’s contributions to Virginia and the United States through its liberal arts education, distinguished alumni, and mission to form good men and good citizens who lead and support a free and just society.
