This section acknowledges National STEM Day and (1) recognizes the STEM education ecosystem as an education continuum vital to U.S. workforce development, societal STEM literacy, and improving lives through STEM; (2) reaffirms the U.S. responsibility to ensure all students' access to STEM education, including technological literacy, digital access, computer science, and artificial intelligence; (3) encourages STEM businesses and entities to engage with local elementary and secondary schools, afterschool programs, and other STEM-learning spaces; (4) urges transdisciplinary collaboration across federal agencies to support the STEM education ecosystem financially and through social and human capital via federal contracts; and (5) urges the people of the United States to observe National STEM Day with appropriate programs and activities.
