H.Res. 895 — Expressing support for the designation of November 20, 2025, through December 20, 2025, as "National Survivors of Homicide Victims Awareness Month".

This section expresses the sense of the House of Representatives supporting the designation of National Survivors of Homicide Victims Awareness Month by (1) expressing support for the designation; (2) supporting efforts to raise awareness of survivors of homicide victims, provide them with support services and information, and encourage research to address the needs of affected families and communities, improve access to and quality of behavioral health services, and increase the national homicide clearance rate (currently near 50 percent and among the lowest in the developed world); and (3) calling on the people of the United States, interest groups, and affected persons to promote awareness, fight gun violence and homicide, respond to affected families with compassion and competence, and observe the month with appropriate activities.
