H.Res. 929 — Reaffirming the commitment of the United States to cooperate and partner with the Government of Honduras to counter narcotics and condemning the pardon of Juan Orlando Hernández.

This section expresses the sense of the House of Representatives that (1) a fair vote count and free and fair election are important in Honduras; (2) the United States should continue its partnership with Honduras to promote security, counter illegal narcotics, address migration, and promote economic development, regardless of the winner of the November 30, 2025, election; (3) the Department of State should strengthen efforts to combat corruption and narcotics trafficking in Honduras and Central America through Magnitsky sanctions and coordinated law-enforcement cooperation; (4) the President's pardon of former Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández should be condemned; (5) solidarity is expressed with victims of drug trafficking, corruption, and violence in the United States and Honduras, and the courage of those exposing wrongdoing by political and criminal actors is recognized; and (6) unauthorized use of military force to kill individuals without interdiction, trial, and conviction is rejected, while pardoning high-level individuals convicted after fair trials in U.S. courts is opposed.
