H.Res. 93 — Providing for consideration of the bill (H.R. 27) to amend the Controlled Substances Act with respect to the scheduling of fentanyl-related substances, and for other purposes.

This section provides for the consideration of H.R. 27—to amend the Controlled Substances Act with respect to the scheduling of fentanyl-related substances—in the House upon adoption of the resolution. It waives all points of order against consideration of the bill and its provisions (as amended by the amendment printed in part A of the Committee on Rules report, which is considered as adopted and the bill as read); orders the previous question on the bill, as amended, to final passage without intervening motion except (1) one hour of debate equally divided and controlled by the chair and ranking minority member of the Committee on Energy and Commerce or their designees, (2) the amendment printed in part B of the report if offered by the designated Member (which is debatable for the specified time equally divided and controlled by the proponent and an opponent), and (3) one motion to recommit.
