This section directs the House of Representatives to (1) designate National Stalking Awareness Month; (2) applaud the efforts of service providers, police departments, prosecutors' offices, national and community organizations, colleges and universities, and private sector entities that combat stalking, support victims, and raise awareness of the crime; (3) encourage policymakers, criminal justice officials, victim service and human service agencies, institutions of higher education, and nonprofit organizations to increase awareness of stalking and support services for victims; and (4) urge national and community organizations, private sector businesses, and the media to promote awareness of stalking through National Stalking Awareness Month.
