S. 1099 — Nationwide Injunction Abuse Prevention Act of 2025

This section establishes a limitation on the authority of U.S. district courts to issue injunctive relief (i.e., court orders requiring a party to do or refrain from specific acts), prohibiting such orders unless applicable only to (1) a party to the case or (2) the court's judicial district. (Thus, district courts may no longer issue nationwide injunctions or those affecting non-parties outside their district.)
